CLASSIC CASENTINO, the sporty and resistant coat raincoat for dogs
Bespoke double-face coat for dogs in elegant and sporty pure wool orange original Casentino fabric on one side and waterproof Veronese green fabric on the other, removable eco-friendly fur collar and leather buttons. This must have item takes its inspiration from the famous and inimitable Casentino men's coat, both for the colors and the type of materials and the processing technique. Born in the Middle Ages as a 'rustic cloth', the Casentino was worn by monks and highlanders and used by carriage drivers to cover horses. In the nineteenth century the Casentino cloth became a fabric appreciated by famous people such as Baron Bettino Ricasoli, Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. Being reversible it is suitable for both cold and wet winter and rainy days.
Classic Casentino is made to measure. The comfortable bellyband, which protects the abdomen from the cold and splashes of rain, is easily blocked on the side with two leather buttons: it has never been simpler to let your four-legged friend wear a garment.
The Casentino cloth is a fabric still produced with the same characteristics of the past and stands out for its uniqueness and strength; the 'fulling' processing makes the fabric more compact and partially waterproof, creating a 'curl' that gives the fabric a perfect thermal insulation and an efficient impermeability while at the same time maintaining skin transpiration. Its most traditional colors are orange and green, which are those used in our coat. Thanks to its reversibility and to the practical and fast closing system you can change the look of your dog in an instant and adapt this item of clothing to the climatic variations

A garment suitable for all sizes and breeds, especially for those dogs that fear cold temperatures: Dachshunds, Maltese Dogs, Jack Russel, French Bulldogs, Poodles, Beagle, Boxers, Bull Terriers, Chihuahuas, Pugs, Dobermans, Dalmatians, Greyhounds, Pinscher and Weimaraner.
EMMA Firenze uses the original Casentino cloth, produced by the award-winning Tessitura Tacs, which makes it in the heart of the Casentino Valley, faithfully respecting its centuries-old processing phases.
Two soft elastic bands, placed in the back of the coat, guarantee perfect adherence to the dog's body. If you don't want to use them, they can be hidden by turning them on the back.
Hand-crafted and customized.
If you use the harness, have it worn by your dog, measure the distance between the junction of the neck and the center of the ring where you attach the leash and report this measurement in the field below. We will make your garment with a buttonhole in the perfect position.
