The hair known as cashmere we use comes from small geese, bred in Mongolia since XV century at an altitude between 4,000 and 6,000 meters. In springtime, the under-fleece only is taken with a special comb; that's why each goose can only produce a maximum 200 grams of hair in a year. Cashmere is the finest yarn in the world and it combines an exceptional softness with the highest breathability.
