Monty Butter is embellished with a series of frogs, essential accessories of this historic jacket, and a pair of irresistible patch pockets. The unisex jacket called mongomery dates back to the beginning of the last century, when the men of the British Royal Navy began to wear the first Duffle coats, heavy wool coats used to protect themselves from the cold winds of the oceans. But it was during the Second World War that these jackets became the official uniform of the English navy and took the name of '' Monty coat '', in honor of General Bernard Law Montgomery, who preferred them in camel color. After the Second World War the duffle coat acquired a new face, starting to be a product intended for a wider audience and becoming in a few decades a garment loved by all. The duffle coat over time has undergone many evolutions, also being made in different wools and in the most varied colors. One thing has always remained the same: the presence of the frogs. Short, long, patterned or plain, each maison adapts it to its stylistic needs but the frogs are always present and cannot be missing because they are the hallmark of this garment that has now become a timeless style icon.
